Arrival by public transport

Rail travellers can now reach the Saas Valley even faster through the NEAT tunnel! From Basel and Zurich in 2 hours to Visp, then change to the Postbus with direct destination SaasFee/Saas Valley. In Saas-Grund "Poshaltestelle" change to Saas-Almagell. As far as "Unter den Bodmen". Directly over the bridge you will find the house "Amici" in about 50 metres on the left side. The house "Piccolo" is opposite the bridge on the hillside.

Arrival by private vehicle

Motorists from the north travel via Berne through the Lötschberg (car transport), from the east over the Furka Pass (or car transport), from the south over the Simplon Pass (car transport). From western Switzerland, you can reach the Saas Valley via Lausanne, along the Rhone Valley to Visp. From Visp in the direction of Stalden and on to Saas Grund. In Saas Grund, turn left after the church towards Saas Almagell. After about 1.5 km, a concrete bridge on the right-hand side leads to the hamlet of "Unter den Bodmen". The house "Amici" is the 2nd house on the left side. The house Piccolo is opposite the bridge on the hillside. Parking space is available in front of the house "Amici".

All apartments have a south-facing balcony or terrace with a panoramic view of the mountain and glacier world.

Laundry

Bed linen, bath and hand towels as well as kitchen linen is available. Beds are made on arrival.

Support

We live next to the house "Amici" and will take care of you personally.

Library

In each apartment you will find a small library of books.

SaastalCard

From the 1st overnight stay you benefit from the SaastalCard.

Summer:
9 mountain railways are included (with the exception of the Metro Alpin) as often as you like as well as all post bus rides from Niedergut to Saas-Fee and from Saas-Grund to Mattmark. (not valid for arrival and departure by post bus). Bicycles and animals are not included. Here half the price of the current fare applies.

Winter:
All post bus rides from Niedergut to Saas-Fee and from Saas-Grund to Saas-Almagell are included. (not valid for arrival and departure by post bus).

Check-in / check-out times

The apartments are ready for occupancy from 2pm and check-out is at 9am.

Luggage storage room

You can leave your luggage free of charge on the day of arrival before check-in or on the day of departure after checkout.

Grill place

In front of the house "Amici" there is a pergola with a gas grill. In front of the house "Piccolo" it has a garden fireplace.

Pets

Pets are allowed on request.

Location

Very quiet location with panoramic view of the mountains and glaciers.

Food shops

Saas-Grund has a bigger Coop and a Denner as well as bakeries
Saas-Almagell has a Volg
Insider tip: Saas-Balen has a butcher's shop with the best "Saas sausages".

Parking spaces

Parking spaces in front of the house "Amici". 1 parking space per flat (house Amici) is guaranteed.
For house Piccolo 3 parking spaces are guaranteed. For house "Piccolo" there is a luggage transport.
Additional parking spaces only subject to availability.

Ski bus

2-3 minutes walk to the ski bus stop (included with the SaastalCard) for Saas-Almagell, Saas-Fee and Saas-Grund.

Ski room

Heated ski room in the house. In the house "Amici" with ski boot heating.

Playground

In front of the house "Amici" there is a large lawn playground with a swing and slide, sandbox.

Drinking water quality

The tap water has excellent drinking water quality. So you profit from our spring water.

Washing machine and tumble dryer

Are available in the house (including washing powder).

WLAN Internet access

WLAN internet access is available in all apartments. You will need access data, which you will receive at check-in.
